Village Facilities and Services
Village Hall, 107 Hope Road W
In the Village Hall you will find the Village staff, the Police Department and the Municipal Court. Village Board meetings, Committee meetings and Municipal Court are held in the conference room at the Village Hall. Meeting dates and times are posted at the Village Hall, Post Office and at Frederic Grocery.

The Municipal Water and Sewer system provides services to over 500 users. Bills are sent out quarterly.

Building Permits
Building permits are required for all new building construction. This includes additions, garages, accessory structures, decks, etc. Permits can be obtained at the Village Hall.
Dog Licenses
The State of Wisconsin requires all dogs to be licensed and vaccinated for rabies. Licenses need to be obtained annually by January 31. License tags can be obtained at the Village Hall. Fees for licenses are:

Village code prohibits animals from running at large in the Village. There is a $50 per day holding charge for any dogs picked up and held by the Police Department.
Elections and Voting
All Elections are held at the Village Hall, polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Parks
Enjoy Coon Lake Park for fishing, baseball, basketball, volleyball and horseshoes. There are shelters with kitchens available for reunions, picnics and even weddings. A hiking and ski trail on the east side makes this a park for everyone. Call the Village Hall to reserve a shelter 327-4294.
Spring Clean Up
Every year the Village designates the second week of May as Spring Clean Up week. The Village crew will pick up and haul away any unwanted items from your yard or home. There is a $10 minimum pick up charge for miscellaneous items and additional charges for appliances, furniture and tires.
Snow Removal
When it snows, crews are dispatched to the Village's main arteries first and then to residential areas. The Village clears streets of ice and snow as quickly and efficiently as conditions permit. Residents are responsible for clearing driveways and sidewalks within 24 hours of a snowfall. Village code prohibits overnight parking on any street from the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
